Tina’s Story: A Mini Memoir

A collection of mini stories all about growing up in Puerto Rico in the 80s and 90s.

From the earliest memories listening to the “Dirty Dancing” soundtrack cassette, to the last days of sixth grade and turning 10.

I bring you stories of how my brother built a Barbie city for me out of cardboard boxes, my mom being my 3rd grade teacher and Girl Scout troop leader, and little me dealing with synesthesia, learning English and dressing up as a Cabbage Patch kid for Halloween.
